🌙 Significance of Navami
Navami is the ninth tithi in the Hindu calendar. It is specially dedicated to Goddess Durga, the embodiment of Shakti, and Lord Rama, the upholder of Dharma. "Nava" means nine.

Lord Rama was born on Chaitra Shukla Navami. On this day, Ramayana recitation and Rama puja are performed. This festival is grandly celebrated in Ayodhya.

Ninth day of Navaratri festival. On this day, Goddess Durga slayed Mahishasura. Ayudha Puja is also performed.
